Programmes offered:

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
(Functional Areas: Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Operations Management and Infrastructure Management (MBA - IM)
SCMHRD offers two full-time residential programmes in Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Business Administration in Infrastructure Management (MBA -IM) taught over 4 semesters. The students are given the opportunity to customise the subjects they choose through a Basket of Electives. The basket of electives is a unique concept from which the students can pick and choose those electives that match their career goals and aspirations. Hence here, 'You can learn what you choose to learn and not what the system wants you to learn'
The specialisations are facilitated through various centres of excellence. The first year focuses on the core curriculum to help students explore and gain better insight into the various management disciplines.

Pedagogy
At SCMHRD, we believe that learning does not happen just through classroom sessions. Apart from this, it happens in myriad other ways which include Case Studies, Presentations, Guest Lectures, Lab Exercises, Field and Research Projects.

Campus and Hostel Facilities
The institute is self-contained, with all essential amenities available to students within the campus. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The library is equipped with over 23000 books, CDs, Journals and magazines. The mess caters to the needs and tastes of the students from diverse backgrounds, serving 3 meals a day. Excellent health care and medical facilities are also available on campus, run by the Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC).

Placements
SCMHRD has become one of the trusted names in the corporate arena for delivering quality at the workplace. This is evident from SCMHRD's track record of placing its students in the most sought-after companies and profiles every year.
Our recruiters come from a diverse background which includes FMCG, BFSI, Automotive, Manufacturing, Telecom, Consulting, Power/Energy and IT/ITES sectors. The campus saw a lot of recruiters like GlaxoSmithKline, ITC, Dell, Henkel, RBI, Mahindra and Mahindra, MCX, Intel, Procter and Gamble, Marico, Dabur, Goldman Sachs, UBS Verity, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, JPMC, Deloitte, Arcelor Mittal, Johnson and Johnson and John Deere.
The Average Salary for 2011 final placements was INR 10.06 Lacs and the highest package offered was INR 16 Lacs. 77 Companies had participated in the placement process. We had received 26 pre-placement offers.

Eligibility Criteria

• A graduate from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks at graduation level. (45% marks for SC/ST candidates)
• Candidates passing degree examination by part time/correspondence course/distance learning programme are not eligible.
• Students in the final year of graduation can apply but their admission will be subject to passing and obtaining a minimum of 50% aggregate mark.
• Diploma holders are not eligible.
