Infrastructure

The campus has hostel facilities for both boys and girls which are provided with modern amenities. With around 150 rooms there are rooms available on twin and triple sharing basis. SIBM has an ultra modern reference and lending library with over 18,000 books (including e-books), reports, journals, periodicals, CDs and video cassettes dealing with a wide range of titles. We have two computer labs with a capacity of 40 and 70 respectively which is equipped with high end hardware on which programs like MS Project, Multitab and Ranal software have been installed. We have subscription to electronic databases by EBSCO and CMIE. The campus also has video conference rooms and audio-visual rooms. The entire campus is wifi enabled and is equipped with a gym, table-tennis, squash court, cafeteria and an auditorium.

Students undergo a selection process by way of screening tests/proficiency tests with best known corporate across India & abroad. And has benchmarked the overall performance standard sets as a base for their eligibility and participation in the Campus Recruitment Program (CRP).

Method of Instruction

Apart from the regular lectures conducted by the faculty ,the institute follows the following approaches in teaching which include Group & Self Learning through Case Studies & Presentations, Project Activities, Industrial Internships after the first year, Guest Lectures & Seminars by Corporates from the industry, Interactive Learning sessions on Information Technology skills, Student Research activities mentoring from industry person, Soft Skills training based on today's requirements and a Focus on Group discussions & Written skills .The various pedagogy used like role play employed very often for overall personality development.
 It uses high end audio & video equipment technologies like projectors, Sound systems in classrooms to provide the best of facilities to the students & the teachers for interactivity.

SIBM aims at producing business leaders and managers par excellence with multifaceted proficiency there by creating a difference to the corporate world and to them as a person.

A graduate from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at graduation level. Candidates passing degree examination by part time / distance learning / correspondence / open school / externally or in one sitting are not eligible. Final year appearing students can apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at qualifying examination.
