| Introduction |
Established in 1978, SIBM today is the flagship of the Symbiosis Management Institutes. Starting from humble beginnings SIBM was ranked the 4 th best Bschool in India in the Business Today AC Neilson – ORG Marg survey in July 2006. Combining theory with practical business, classroom teaching with Management Development Programmes, SIBM offers it’s students a classic mix of academic and business knowledge.
Its academic partners are :

| Facilities |
The Symbiosis Centre Health Care (SCHC) is an inhouse Health Care Centre exclusive to the staff & students of the various Institutes of Symbiosis. SCHC has a team of specialist doctors who conduct the annual health check up.
Each student is insured under the Mediclaim & Road Traffic Accident Policy. SCHC provides preventive, promotive as well as curative health care services that ensure Positive Health in all members of the Symbiosis Family. |

SIBM has scaled new heights with the successful close of the Campus Recruitment Programme 2007 - 08. The 9th of January 2008 saw the dreams of the MBA Batch of 2008 turning into reality. SIBM rescripted records with a staggering 233 offers being made to 166 students. Varied sectors participated in the recruitment drive ranging from Consulting, FMCG, Banking & Financial Services, IT & ITES, Manufacturing & Consumer Durables, Telecom to Automobile, Retail, Media and Advertising, amongst others.
A total of 93 recruiters spanning domestic geographies as well as international recruiters, participated to recruit the best management talent available. The average number of offers standing at 1.4 offers per student gave students an ample choice amid offers.

| Eligibility |
A graduate from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at graduation level. Candidates passing degree examination by part time / distance learning / correspondence / open school / externally or in one sitting are not eligible. Final year appearing students can apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at qualifying examination. |
