SIMS has an integrated campus with all learning facilities requisite of a contemporary business school. It is housed in a fully residential wi-fi campus with separate facilities for men and women. The campus features arresting architecture in an environment friendly green setting with infrastructure and facilities well in excess of statutory requirements. SIMS is ranked 5th for Infrastructure by "Business world" in their 'B-schools' issue of 24 December 2007. Automated web accessible Library with contemporary books, foreign journals & magazines, large number of on-line e-journals & magazines and access to corporate databases. Large air-conditioned auditorium; separate discussion and conference rooms. SIMS computing infrastructure offers a heterogeneous range of hardware and software to assist the learning process. IT lab with 100 workstations, equipped with modern software packages etc. Upto-date health and fitness infrastructure on campus.

Full time permanent and adjunct faculty, working managers, entrepreneurs, consultants, all with outstanding academic qualifications and experts in their respective fields are members of the teaching body. Interactive with faculties using case study method, innovative techniques like role plays & films, live projects, etc along with traditional lecture/discussion method.

The Institute is an accredited ‘Centre for Corporate Governance’ of the National Foundation of Corporate Governance and conducts research and executive development programs in the field for senior management and board members.  

The eligibility criteria for admission to SIMS is 50% in aggregate of fulltime bachelor’s level degree through 10+2+3/4 mode, from a statutory university. Candidates completing their final examinations of bachelor’s degree by 30th June 2009 can also apply provisionally. Please note admission is primarily for dependants of defence personnel at this institute, with few industry sponsored seats.(Please see SIMS website for further details).

STEP 1
Appear in SNAP Test 2008 on 21st. December 2008.

STEP 2
Procure copy of SIMS Prospectus for 2009-11 batch OR refer the website at www.sims.edu for details. Prospectus available on payment of Rs.1,100/- by demand draft favoring ‘Director, SIMS’, payable at Pune by courier (Rs. 50/- courier charges) or from Admission counter by hand.

STEP 3
Submit application form attached to prospectus OR application form downloaded from website along with demand draft, duly completed by due date.

As per MOU with Ministry of Defence, Govt of India, vacancies for full-time Programmes are as under:

• Defence Open Category: 80% vacancies allotted to dependants of armed forces personnel.
• Defence Special Category: 10% vacancies allotted to dependents of armed forces personnel affected in War, Counter-Insurgency or War-like operations.
• Industry Sponsored Category: 10% vacancies allotted to Industry / sponsored candidates.
• Officers of armed forces on Study Leave: As sanctioned by respective Service HQs.
