Realizing the opportunities and needs of the new economy, Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management (SITM) was established in the year 1996.We are the pioneers in the field of Telecom Management education in the country and Asia. We focus on three basic components Management, Telecom and Information Technology to develop world class Telecom Business Leaders who can manage technology efficiently. Ever since its perception, SITM has achieved 100% Placement, which bears testimony to its position in the industry. Our alumni have been making their mark in the industry as Technical and Business Consultants, Network Implementers, Project Leaders and Business Development Executives.

SITM has been accorded AICTE approval and is a constituent of Symbiosis International University (SIU) established under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956, by notification No. F 9-12/2001-U 3 of the Government of India.

Library
The institute has a well-stocked library with pleasant interiors. It is fully digitalized with a terminal for accessing library catalogue. It also has OPAC (On line Public Access Catalogue), which enables students to access library data from any computer in the Institute.

Lab
SITM has the latest state-of-the-art IT Infrastructure with a Software Lab and a specialized Network Lab with a 512 kbps, wireless broadband leased line, and 24 hour Internet Connectivity.

SITM has a specialized CISCO Lab where students can experiment with network operating systems and perform network related practical assignments. Going further beyond the mandate and to add more value to the course. SITM has signed up with CISCO for an academic partnership in the CNAP program. The entire CCNA program is thus incorporated into the Systems Specialization.

Canteen
The campus has an all day canteen with mess facility, which caters to the various tastes and budgets of the students.

Club
SIHS is an in house health care center exclusive to the staff and students of various institutes of Symbiosis. SIHS provides an in house, modern state of the art health club and fitness center with a view to facilitate a holistic development of the mind and body for an all round development of the students. Training facilities for strength, endurance, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness including Yoga and Meditation will be provided in customized capsules suited to the unique requirements of the students in conformation with their academic curriculum.

Hostels
The institute does not provide hostel facility at present. However five girls are accommodated in the Symbiosis Vishwabhawan Hostel, which is about 2 kms away from our campus. Besides the senior students support the freshers to find out suitable accommodation. The institute also provides a data bank of flats and hostels in the vicinity of the campus.
