SNAP test 2023: Important Dates You must not Forget

It’s common knowledge that an entrance exam is a prerequisite to get admission in the best MBA college. These entrance examinations are conducted every year.

If you are aspiring to pursue an MBA from top business schools in India; then one of the 16 institutes under Symbiosis International (Deemed University) [SIU] must be on your list.

To be a part of one of the 26 MBA programmes offered by SIU, you will need to appear for the SNAP Test 2023. Let’s take a look at some of the important information about this test.

SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2023


SNAP 2023 eligibilty criteria

Before you start applying, kindly check the eligibility criteria to avoid any chances of disqualification at a later stage. Have a keen look at the SNAP 2023 Eligibility Criteria and check all the conditions mentioned by Symbiosis International (Deemed University).

  • Candidate should be Graduate from any recognised University/ Candidate should be a graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes) at graduation.
  • Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes).
  • A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Candidates in the final year of the college (graduation) can also apply for the SNAP 2023 test, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade. 

Note: Admission of such candidates will be provisional and will be cancelled in the event of non-fulfilment of the above-stated criteria.

A candidate who has completed a qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All foreign degrees/qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any programme of SIU.

Important: It is the responsibility of the candidate to ascertain whether s/he possesses the requisite qualifications for admission. Having been admitted provisionally does not mean acceptance of eligibility. Final eligibility for admission will be decided by Symbiosis International (Deemed University).

SNAP Test 2023 Exam Structure


SNAP test 2023 exam pattern and test structure
  • SNAP Test 2023 will be a computer-based test.
  • SNAP Test duration is 60 minutes.
  • SNAP is an objective test. Each question will have four responses.
  • Each wrong answer will attract 25% negative marking.
  • Candidates can appear for up to three tests for SNAP 2023. The best of the performance out of the attempts he/ she has made will be considered for the final percentile calculation.
  • The application fee will be Rs. 2250/- for each attempt of SNAP 2023. The programme/college fee (Rs.1000/ per programme/college) is to be paid only once.
  • SNAP 2023 will be a 1-hour test.
  • There will be a total of 60 questions.

The SNAP 2023 exam will be computer-based and divided into three sections: 

  • General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability
  • Analytical & Logical Reasoning
  • Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency

There are certain changes you must remember about the test patterns. This year only the Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency will have only 20 Normal questions worth one mark.

The General English section will only have 15 normal questions. The Analytical & Logical Reasoning section will have 25 questions, worth one mark. 

Based on your overall SNAP percentile, you will be called for further rounds consisting of Group Exercise and Personal Interaction (GE-PI). Post the successful completion of these rounds; you will be offered admission in the institute that you have registered with.
