  • Do we need to pay anything other than the registration fee ?

    Pay the SNAP Test registration fee of Rs.1950/- per test from August 31, 2021 to November 27, 2021 as per the instructions mentioned on the website for Payment of SNAP Test registration fee.
    The applicant has to pay a programme fee of Rs 1000/- for each programme the aspirants wishes to apply for.

  • Can I pay for the Institutes after the SNAP results ?

    The SNAP payment schedule has all the important dates mentioned about the payment and registration of the SNAP exam. Each institute has different deadlines and the candidates needs to pay before the respective deadlines.

  • Can we make changes in the form after payment ? (application form for snap, apply for snap online, mba
    application form)

    Any change in the online registration form (except name, date of birth, category, test city preferences and test date) will be entertained only up to the closing date of registration i.e. 27 November 2021. No change shall be permitted after closing date under any circumstances.

  • Can we change the test city after paying the registration fee ?

    No.

  • Are there any books to refer for SNAP ?

    SNAP Exam is very much similar to other MBA Entrance exams. The best way to prepare for SNAP is appearing for mock tests. There is no specific book to prepare for the SNAP test. A candidate may refer the test structure and get books as per that for the preparations.

  • What is the cut off for SNAP ?

    Category-wise SNAP cut off for Merit List and Wait List will be displayed on the website of the respective Institutes after the SNAP Results are out. So for any details regarding the SNAP test please contact the respective institute.

  • When will I get a call from the institute for further processing ?

    A candidate will be shortlisted for further admission process (GE-PIWAT) based on her/his overall SNAP Percentile. Please check the respective Institute website for information and dates of GE-PIWAT.

    The further admission process is conducted separately for each programme by each Institute. The cut-off for shortlisting is also calculated separately for each programme. Based on her/his overall SNAP percentile, a particular candidate may get shortlisted for more than one programme. In such a scenario the candidate is expected to participate in the GE-PIWAT for each programme separately.

    It is mandatory to attend all components / tests of GE-PIWAT to be eligible for admission to any PG programme. Only the candidate who attends all components / tests of selection process (GE-PIWAT) shall be considered as eligible for generation of merit / wait / reject list. The candidate who remains absent for any one of the component / tests will be considered as ineligible for selection process of any of the MBA programmes of SIU.

  • What is the process for NRI candidates ?

    NRI candidates can refer to the stepwise procedure available on https://www.snaptest.org/symbiosis-international-students.html for their SNAP registration process. Interested candidates can apply online through their user-friendly online application facility. For More details on NRI/International candidate admissions the candidate needs to call SCIE.

  • How many times I can give SNAP ?

    SNAP is held only once a year.
    A candidate can appear for a maximum of two tests for SNAP 2021. If a candidate appears for two tests, the higher score will be considered for final percentile calculation and there will be no normalization.

  • Does Snap exam have negative marking ?

    SNAP Test is an objective test. Each question has four responses (Only for Normal Questions). Candidate should choose an appropriate response. Each wrong answer attracts 25% negative marks. SNAP 2021 exam pattern consists of 3 sections - General English, Analytical & Logical Reasoning and Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency

  • Which colleges accept SNAP scores ?

    15 Institutes accept the SNAP score for 24 MBA programmes coming under the Symbiosis Institute. The list of the colleges and eligibility criteria is mentioned on the SNAP test 2021 website.

  • How many numbers of questions are there in SNAP 2021 exam ?

    In SNAP 2021 exam, the total number of questions is 60. The SNAP question paper consists of 3 sections General English, Analytical & Logical Reasoning and Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency.

  • What is SNAP exam?

  • What is the eligibility criteria for SNAP Entrance Test ?

    The candidate should be a graduate from any recognized/ statutory University or Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes).

    Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes).

  • When SNAP exam is conducted? Is it a computer-based exam ?

    The SNAP exam is a computer-based exam mandatory for admissions for various programmes under Symbiosis Institute. Candidates can register online on the SNAP test website- snaptest.org The registration for the exam has started on 31 August 2021. The registration will be closed on 27 November 2021.

  • Apart from registering for SNAP, do I need to separately apply to B-school programs ?

    Candidates aspiring to join MBA programmes offered by Institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) have to appear for the common, mandatory Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Online Test 2021. A candidate needs to register for SNAP Test and also register for the Institutes offering her/his choice of programme/s by paying a separate registration fee for each programme/s.

  • How to download SNAP admit card ?

    The Test Centre and its address will be printed on the Admit Card. (The Admit Card will be live on SNAP website snaptest.org from 04 December 2021 till the test date). STS reserves the right to change or allot a city other than the one requested by the candidate in the event of the requested city not being available for any reason.

  • How to apply/get admission in Symbiosis Pune for MBA ?

    A candidate aspiring to join an MBA programme offered at SIBM Pune is required to register as well as pay the registration fee of her/his desired programme(s) before the closing date of programme registration fee payment of that/those programme(s). The said fee must be paid through the SNAP website only (snaptest.org). This is in addition to registering for and paying the registration fee for the SNAP Test.

    The programme registration fee is INR 1000/- for each programme. If a candidate wishes to apply to more than one programme, s/he will have to pay an additional INR 1000/- for each additional programme applied to.

  • Does SNAP have a reservation quota ?

    No.

  • What is SIMS category in SNAP form ?

    # For Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS): As per MoU with Ministry of Defence clause no. 13 sub clause (d) The term Defence Personnel would mean only those serving / retired Defence Personnel from the Army, Navy and Air Force who fall in the category of ex-serviceman as laid down vide Ministry of Defence Letter no. 36034/5/85 -Estt (SCT) dated 14th April, 1987. 

    Reservation of Seats within the intake is:

    Defence Category - General: 80% seats for dependents (Children / Ward / Spouse) of Defence personnel. (as per merit)

    Defence category - Special: 10% seats for dependents (Children / Ward / Spouse) of Defence personnel a) killed in action (war, counter insurgency or war like operation), or b) disabled in action (war, counter insurgency or war like operation), with more than 50% disability, or c) who have died while in service, death being attributable to military service. (as per merit)

    Open / Industry Category: 10% seats are in open category to civilian candidates under open or sponsored / recommended by the Industry (as per merit).

  • Does SNAP have GK (General Knowledge) section ?

    No.

  • Does SNAP release an answer key later ?

    No.
