The MBA (Banking and Finance) Programme with specialization in Fintech/Financial Services is designed with an objective to disseminate relevant knowledge and provide skills to students such that they function effectively in the challenging environment of the Banking, Finance and Insurance (BFSI) sector. The specializations will help equip and empower students with the knowledge and skill required to prosper in the dynamic technology-driven financial environment. The Dual Degree Programme is in collaboration with Aston University, UK wherein the dual degree will be SSBF: MBA (Banking and Finance) Programme with specialization in Financial Services along with Aston University: MSc in Finance. The degree is designed with an objective to disseminate relevant knowledge and provide skills to students such that they function effectively in the challenging global environment of the Banking, Finance and Insurance (BFSI) sector. This Dual degree Programme allows you to earn two Master degrees within two years. This unique opportunity is tailor-made and offered to you by Symbiosis School of Banking and Finance with our partner university - Aston University, UK The specializations will help equip and empower students with the knowledge and skill required to prosper in the dynamic technology-driven financial environment. The Programme develops future BFSI leaders with requisite skills through robust curriculum and collaborative initiatives to excel in the dynamic global environment.

The Dual Degree Programme is in collaboration with Macquarie University, Australia where in the dual degree will be SSBF: MBA (Banking and Finance) Programme with specialization in Financial Services along with Macquarie University - Master of Banking and Finance with specialization in Financial Management. The dual degree is designed with an objective to disseminate relevant knowledge and provide skills to students such that they function effectively in the challenging global environment of the Banking, Finance and Insurance (BFSI) sector. This Dual degree Programme allows you to earn two Master degrees within two years. • Graduate from any recognized University / Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes).

• A candidate who has completed qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

• All foreign degrees/ qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any programme of SIU.

Eligibility Requirement at SIU (as per SIU norms)

• Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 65% marks or equivalent grade 

• A candidate who has completed a qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). 

• All foreign degrees/ qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any Programme of SIU.

• The Evaluation Division of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) issues equivalence certificate for foreign degrees/qualifications.

• Additionally for dual degree programme student needs to secure at least 6.5 GPA in the first semester

Eligibility Requirement at Aston University (in addition to the above)

• 60% overall in Bachelor’s Degree | 6 out of 10 GPA |4.2 out of 7 GPA + a content minimum of 50% from each of the following areas:

Economics(micro/macro), Statistics, Quantitative Methods, Mathematics, Finance

• A minimum of 75% (CBSE/ISC) or 80% (State Board/NIOS) in Standard 12^th English for the reasons of compliance OR 6.5 (3 bands at 6.0, and 1 band at 5.5) in IELTS

• Letter of Recommendation (LOR) from your previous institute or employer.

• Prior work experience preferred however not mandatory. Work experience/Internship document to be provided, if applicable.

• Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 65% marks or equivalent grade 

· A candidate who has completed a qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

· All foreign degrees/ qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any Programme of SIU.

• Completion of 1 year (semesters 1 and 2) of the relevant SSBF MBA Programme with a minimum of WAM 65.

• Completion of an undergraduate degree with a minimum average score of 50% or equivalent. Students must submit SIU-certified mark sheets – Class 12 and Bachelor’s Degree Certificate

• Minimum Academic IELTS of 6.5 overall with a minimum 6.0 in each band, or equivalent

• Prior work experience preferred however not mandatory. Work experience/Internship document to be provided, if applicable.
