Symbiosis School of Media & Communication, Bengaluru, (SSMC-B) established in 2009 has carved a niche in the field of Media and Communication education through its 2-year full time MBA program in Communication Management. With an industry - oriented contemporary curriculum and specializations in Advertising, Public Relations and Media Management, learning at SSMC-B is participatory and holistic in nature. Our research-oriented faculty equip our media trainees with tools and techniques of strategic media communication including digital strategies to have a competitive advantage as professionals in today's dynamic media world. This programme is structured to keep students at the forefront of modern media and management practices through innovative pedagogy blending theoretical knowledge with practical application. Hands-on experience through practical workshops, real challenges, real-time industry projects working alongside industry professionals as mentors, our students develop skills ready to succeed in this increasingly competitive sector, making them highly employable. CLUBS

As part of their co-curricular activities students participate in the following clubs

AdRiot - The Advertising & Media Management Club -The Students come together under one name and work on designing, branding, social media and creative work. Industry interactions organized, make students apply knowledge and get industry ready.

The Mediatics - The Public Relations & Media Management Club where the smart, young to be professionals embark on presentations, press releases and brand building activities, organizing seminars and other related activities.

Sync - The Events & Performing Arts Club is unique with abundant talent. From taking part in competitions, cultural fests, the club does a lot on campus by organizing events and showcasing their talent.

SAC - The Sports & Adventure Club brings out the competitive spirit. The students of this club are full of enthusiasm, organizing sports tournaments on campus and participating in inter-college sports competitions.

Please read and understand the instructions mentioned below before you proceed for registration. It is mandatory to appear for the SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) for admission to Symbiosis School of Media and Communication Bengaluru (SSMC)

How to apply

For seeking admission to the Symbiosis School of Media and Communication Bengaluru (SSMC) students should complete the following procedure:

Step I:
The applicant must register and pay online for SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) Examination, 2017. SNAP 2017 test fee is INR 1750/-. This is not refundable. For more details please visit: www.snaptest.org

Step II:
While registering for SNAP, applicant has to also apply for SSMC in the same application form. A registration fee of Rs. 1000/- is to be paid to SSMC for each programme that the aspirant wishes to apply. This is mandatory, without which the applicant will not be considered for short-listing for the GE (Group Exercise) PI-WAT (Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test) process for the respective programme(s).

Mode of payment

NOTE : SNAP Test fee and Institutes program fee are non-refundable

Pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.1750/-. (plus applicable payment gateway charges at actual).

You have the option of following payment modes:

ONLINE PAYMENT THROUGH NET BANKING:

You may pay your SNAP test fee from the list of banks to Symbiosis Test Secretariat account. You can also pay the Program-wise Payment for Selection Process through internet banking option

ONLINE PAYMENT THROUGH CREDIT / DEBIT CARD:

You may pay directly online using either Master or Visa card. Follow the instructions on the website. You can also pay the Program-wise Payment for Selection Process through credit card.

ONLINE PAYMENT THROUGH INDIAN BANK NET BANKING:

You may pay your SNAP test fee to Symbiosis Test Secretariat account. You can also pay the Program-wise Payment for Selection Process through Indian Bank Internet Banking option.

DEMAND DRAFT:

Get a demand draft of INR 1750/- from any Nationalized Bank in favour of "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" payable at Pune.

Choose the mode of Payment as 'Demand Draft' in "Make Payment" Tab. Take a print of the payment advice form, verify the Institute Program Names and the amount, get a DD from any Nationalized Bank, sign and send the advise form along with the DD to the address mentioned below :
