The two-year full time Masters in Business Administration - Hospital & Healthcare Management, MBA (HHM) is a residential programme with electives in Pharmaceutical management, Healthcare IT and Healthcare Insurance. The programme focuses on equipping students with the knowledge and skills required for the management of healthcare organizations,be it Hospitals, Pharmaceutical companies , IT, Health Insurance, Clinical research, Equipment manufacturing, Public healthcare establishment, Consultancies, NGOs, Wellness industry and others as may evolve. The programme aims at adopting a synergistic blend of academic knowledge and practical intricacies of the field to create professionals adept at identifying practical problems and using time tested and emerging managerial techniques to arrive at the most appropriate solutions.

Master of Business Administration (Hospital and Healthcare Management)

The MBA (HHM) Programme is designed to transform you into an effective health care system manager with special abilities, namely- knowledge of the practice of management along with a thorough understanding of the intricacies of the health care sector and the functioning of each of the health care verticals of major stake holders such as Insurance, Pharmaceutical, Clinical Research, NGOs, Hospitals, IT , Medical Equipment and Manufacturing industry etc. Students are imparted knowledge in all these areas as part of the basic, foundation syllabus. The training is imparted through both theory classes and practical training (“in field”) successfully completing the programme will certainly facilitate your entry into the field of healthcare management.

ELIGIBILITY


Master of Business Administration (Hospital and Healthcare Management)

 Candidate should be Graduate from any recognised University/ Candidate should be a graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes) at graduation.

Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes).

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU)

How to Apply


For seeking admission to the Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences students should complete the following procedure:

Step I:

The applicant must register and pay for SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) 2019. SNAP 2019 test fee is INR 1750/- (non-refundable). Following are the options for payment.

i) Billdesk Payment Gateway   ii) Easebuzz Payment Gateway iii) Indian Bank Gateway iv) Demand Draft.

Step II:

While registering for SNAP, applicant has to also apply for SIHS in the same application form. A programme fee of Rs. 1000/- (non-refundable) is to be paid toSIHS for each programme that the aspirant wishes to apply. This is mandatory, without which the applicant will not be considered for short-listing for the GE (Group Exercise) PI-WAT (Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test) process for the respective programme(s).

Note


1) SNAP Test fee & programme(s) of the institute is non-refundable.

2) Demand Draft(s) should reach the Symbiosis Test Secretariat by 5:00 pm on November 26, 2019. Demand Drafts reaching after this will not be considered and will be returned to the respective candidates.

3) The last date for payment for SIHS is 31st December 2019 (Tuesday)
