SNAP 2026 registration is now open from 21 August 2026, marking the beginning of the admission process for selected MBA programmes for the academic year 2027-28. The official SNAP platform currently lists 29 MBA programmes offered across 17 Symbiosis institutes, giving applicants a wide range of management pathways to consider.

The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, commonly known as SNAP, is the common entrance test for candidates seeking admission to selected MBA programmes offered by institutes of SIU. Candidates first register for the SNAP Test, select the MBA programme or programmes they wish to apply for and complete the respective payments through the integrated registration process.

Candidates planning to apply should keep the complete SNAP schedule in mind rather than focusing only on the registration deadline.

The registration closing date, admit card schedule, three test dates and result date are specified in the official SNAP 2026 Bulletin.

Waiting until the final registration date may reduce your options while selecting a preferred test date or test city. According to the official bulletin, test date and city allocation is based on availability, and completing the registration and payment earlier improves the chances of receiving the preferred test date and city.

Applicants should check the eligibility criteria of the specific programme before completing programme registration. The general eligibility for several MBA programmes requires graduation from a recognised university or Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade. The requirement is 45% for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates. Some specialised and dual degree programmes have additional eligibility requirements.

The SNAP registration and programme application process takes place through the official SNAP portal.

Candidates should carefully verify every detail before submitting the registration. The official instructions state that changes are not permitted after registration under any circumstances.

The SNAP 2026 registration fee is ₹2,550 per test, with applicable government taxes charged additionally. Candidates applying to an MBA programme also need to pay a separate ₹1,000 programme registration fee for each programme selected, along with applicable taxes. Both the SNAP registration fee and programme registration fee are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Important note for applicants:

• Paying only the SNAP Test registration fee does not complete the application for an MBA programme.
• Candidates must separately select the programme they want to pursue and pay its programme registration fee.
• Failure to complete the programme payment means the application will not be considered for that programme.

SNAP 2026 will be conducted on 13 December, 19 December and 26 December 2026. Candidates have the option to appear for up to three tests. If a candidate takes more than one test, the higher score is considered for the final percentile calculation.

SNAP is the first stage of the admission process. Candidates shortlisted for an MBA programme need to participate in the further selection process conducted by the respective Symbiosis institute. The process includes Group Exercise and Personal Interaction, and final admission is based on the prescribed merit process.

The SNAP 2026 score will be valid for admission to selected programmes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for the 2027-28 academic year.
