Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a postgraduate (MBA) entrance test, conducted every year by Symbiosis International (Deemed University), two times. SNAP test score is accepted for courses offered by 16 different institutes that come under the umbrella of Symbiosis University.

SNAP Test 2020: Exam Structure

  • SNAP Test 2020 will be a computer-based test.
  • SNAP Test duration is 60 minutes.
  • SNAP Exam Date: 
    1. Sunday, 20 December 2020; Time: 11.00 am – 12.00 noon
    2. Wednesday, 06 January 2021; Time: 11.00 am – 12.00 noon
    3. Saturday, 09 January 2021; Time: 11.00 am – 12.00 noon
  • SNAP is an objective test. Each question will have four responses.
  • Each wrong answer will attract 25% negative marking.
  • Candidates can appear for a maximum of two tests for SNAP 2020.

SNAP 2020: Key Highlights this Year

  • For the year 2020, SIU and the governing body for SNAP have decided to conduct the test on three dates. 

  • Candidates can voluntarily appear for a maximum of two tests for SNAP 2020. The best of the performance out of the attempts he/ she has made will be considered for final percentile calculation.

  • The application fee will be Rs. 1750/- for each attempt of SNAP 2020. The programme/college fee (Rs.1000/ per programme/college) is to be paid only once.

  • SNAP 2020 will be a 1 hour test this year.

  • There is no change in the negative marking. The marking pattern to be one (1) mark for each correct answer and 25 % negative marking for each incorrect answer.

  • Special questions have been eliminated this year and the total no. of questions have been reduced to 60.

How to Register for SNAP Test 2020

You can register online for the test at www.snaptest.org. The registrations begin from September 24 till November 28, 2020. 

  • During the registration process, you will need a scanned copy of your latest passport size photograph. It should not be more than three months old. 
  • Once you have filled all your details you will need to pay the application fee of INR 1750/-. You can use the following modes of payment:
  • You need to ensure that the information you have filled is accurate. No change in name, date of birth, category, test city. Moreover, test date requests will be entertained once a candidate has paid her/his SNAP 2020 registration fee.

You need to pay the SNAP Test registration fee of Rs.1750/- per test from September 24, 2020 to 28 November 2020. Notably, the SNAP Test registration fee and programme registration fee of the Institute is non-refundable and non-transferable.

2. Payment via Demand Draft

For offline payment, you are required to submit a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1750/- per test from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.

Choose the mode of Payment as 'DD Payment' in ‘Make Payment’ Tab. Print the payment advice form, fill in the details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat at,

The Symbiosis Test Secretariat (STS) will authenticate the details of Demand Draft and will send you an email confirming the payment. Only after the authentication and confirmation of payment, will you be able to view your Admit Card.

Easy Steps To Fill The SNAP 2020 Application Form:

Step 1 - Visit the official registration portal at www.snaptest.org

Step 2 - Click on the new user tab (Register Here)
Step 3 - Read the terms and conditions and click on ‘I agree’
Step 4 - Re-login and fill the SNAP registration form 2020

Step 5 - Enter the OTP & validate your mobile no. Also verify your email id.
Step 6 - Pay the SNAP registration fee
Step 7 - Fill part II of the registration form along with the required details about your preferred colleges.

Step 8 - Make payment for the programmes/colleges selected.


Please remember that the Symbiosis Test Secretariat will authenticate the payment details and will send you an email to your registered mail id, confirming your payment for SNAP Test 2020. You will be able to view the SNAP Admit Card, only after the payment is authenticated.

SNAP 2020: Test Cities

  • The SNAP test 2020 will be conducted in 94 cities across India.
  • Test Centers will be allocated on the basis of the availability of slots.
  • Once the payment for SNAP Online Test is made, no changes in the test centres will be entertained by the authorities.
  • The final allotted SNAP Exam Center will be mentioned on the admit card.

SNAP 2020 Shortlisting & Selection Process

If the candidate gets shortlisted for a programme applied to (based on the overall SNAP percentile), he/she would be required to participate in the further admission process (GE-PIWAT) of that particular programme.

You need to stay updated with the respective Institute websites for information and dates of GE-PIWAT.The further admission process will be conducted separately for each programme by each Institute.

Important Guidelines for SNAP 2020

  1. You must carry a printed copy of the SNAP Admit card which will be available on the website from 05, December 2020.
  2. Please ensure that your latest coloured passport size photograph is pasted on the Admit Card at the place provided for before appearing for the test
  3. Do not forget to carry the Admit Card along with Photo Identity proof to the Test Centre at the time of the test.
  4.  Please preserve this authenticated Admit Card for further admission processes. If the Authenticated Admit card is lost, a duplicate Admit Card will not be issued.
  5. Travel arrangements will need to be done by the candidate.
  6. The candidate is required to report at the Test Centre by 9.00 a.m. to undergo, admit card and ID proof verification.
  7. After 11.10 a.m. no candidate will be allowed to appear for the SNAP Test 2020.
  8. No cell phones, calculators, watch calculators, alarm clocks, digital watches with built in calculators / memory or any electronics gadgets will be allowed in the examination hall.
  9. Any malpractice during the test will forfeit her/his chance of being considered for admission and will be debarred from receiving SNAP Test 2020 scores.
  10. A Differently Abled category candidate is requested to contact STS with scanned copies of her/his Medical Certificate for ascertaining percentage of the disability. (email: info@snaptest.org).
